Diversity of climatic factors, the characteristics of geography and topography, and the lack of strong anthropogenic pressure are instrumental in Strandja lounge and keep a great variety of natural habitats. Their total number (classification of Palaearctic) is over 130, and this indicator park is the first among the protected areas in Europe. Of high conservation value are the various habitats along the sea coast (marine bays, cliffs, Pontic communities and white sand dunes west-Pontic communities of saline soils and rocky substrates) river habitats (springs, rivers and streams, aquatic communities with yellow lily (Nuphar lutea), coastal estuaries), karst areas (rock formations, the rocks and caves), shrub and grassland habitats (eastern bushes flu belizmovite steppe grasslands, hay meadows, riparian meadows, Elin-annual Balkan communities mesophilic pastures).
